CO2 laser
Acrylic laser cutting in Warsaw, Poland, to 0.2 mm accuracy
Precise cutting of shapes from acrylic and other materials with a CO2 laser, from single parts to production runs.

The large-format CO2 laser in our hall at ul. Jagiellońska cuts parts to an accuracy of 0.2 mm. The acrylic edge comes out smooth and glossy, so you can usually skip additional polishing, and a series of 10 pieces looks the same as the hundredth.
How laser cutting works here
A CO2 laser is the right choice where the outline matters: letters, display shelves, SKU slots, POS details, prototypes and short runs. The vector file goes straight to the machine, with no hand trimming and no “almost fits”.
Typical acrylic thicknesses for the laser are 2–10 mm (thicker sheets and countersinks often go to the CNC). Besides PMMA we cut and engrave Dibond, plywood, cardboard and laminates, and we set power and speed for the specific material.
For a quote, a DXF, AI or vector PDF at 1:1 scale (mm) is enough, or a sketch with dimensions. We usually send the lead time and price on the same working day (Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00 CET).

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which files are best for laser cutting?
Vector DXF, AI or PDF with closed contours at 1:1 scale (mm), with no open paths. We accept JPG and PNG as a reference only, and they need vectorising before cutting.
Does the acrylic edge need polishing after the laser?
With CO2 laser cutting the acrylic edge is usually smooth and glossy. We add polishing only when the design requires a matt finish or further bonding on a milled edge.
How accurate is laser cutting?
We cut acrylic with the laser to an accuracy of approx. 0.2 mm, with repeatability across series. For very dense hole patterns we adjust the parameters to the material.
Laser or CNC: which should I choose?
Laser: precise outline, clean acrylic edge and typical POS thicknesses. CNC: thick sheets, countersinks, mounting holes, Dibond or MDF, and a matt edge for bonding. We often combine both technologies in one project.
Do you laser-cut only acrylic?
No. Besides PMMA we cut and engrave Dibond, plywood, cardboard, leather and laminates. We usually CNC-mill polycarbonate, because a CO2 laser yellows it and scorches the edge.
How long does laser cutting take and how much does it cost?
Simple parts usually take 3–7 working days from the start of production. The price depends on the cutting length, the thickness and the quantity. As a guide, from several dozen PLN net for a simple part, and the unit price falls in a series. Send the brief through the quote form.
Can I supply my own sheet?
Yes. We agree cutting on supplied material before we start (type, thickness and condition of the protective film). We confirm the lead time after viewing the sheet or photos.
Need a quote for acrylic fabrication in Poland?
Send dimensions, a DXF/AI/PDF/STEP file or a short brief. We reply Monday to Friday, 8:00–16:00 CET.
