Which cutter cuts the film?
A Graphtec vinyl cutter. We give the model and working width in the quote.
Does the cutter cut acrylic?
No. It cuts film. Acrylic, Dibond and polycarbonate go to the CO2 laser or the Kimla milling machine, depending on thickness and edge.
When should I choose film and when UV printing?
Film: outline, application, mask. UV: colour and white directly on the sheet, short runs, and artwork after bending. On a bend line, film is more likely to lift.
Do you apply film to a finished display?
Yes, after the sheet has been processed, on a clean surface. We also quote cutting alone, without application.
